"I want my hat back", by Jon Klassen
http://coolpicsbro.com/m/2685
The inspiring tale of an ambiguous bear-creature who, upon losing his beloved hat, must find the strength to seek beyond the conventional social channels in order to recover it. The austerity of the art and stilted, repetitive nature of the prose provides a clear commentary on the apathy of modern man/woodland creature while at the same time evoking important questions for every age and reading level: from whence does this apathy arise and how, if possible, can it be transcended?
In other news, I have a French oral presentation in one hour and am therefore procrastinating like it's my job :/
